Managed Monthly Finance Service

For many churches, they don't have the scale or funds to hire a finance professional full time. This was the driving force behind setting up Diligent Finance Management, to provide a function that took all the day to day bookkeeping, alongside management account creation and analysis to provide into the PCC / Treasurer in a format that they can quickly digest and make decisions on. Services provided include;

  • Bookkeeping to reconcile accounts (using Xero or Quickbooks or other packages on discussion)

  • Analysed and summarised Income & Expense Reports

  • High level review of Balance Sheet including split of Funds

  • Monthly Review with Operations Manager / Treasurer as appropriate

  • Provision of Payroll Services including oversight of pension provisions

  • Provision of additional reporting to pull in key metrics such as the use of data from Church Suite.


These services are provided on a fixed price basis to help with forecasting and ensuring that the church gets value for money.
